About Us

The co-founders of Inlé, Rachel & Shelby, have been friends since meeting in high school Spanish class seven long years ago. Since then, they have shared their mutual love of music, awkwardness, crass jokes, punk, DIY & each other. After attending different colleges, Rachel & Shelby hit the road and traveled to Seattle, Portland, New York, & the California Coast. On a chilly evening in Shelby’s heat-soaked, poster-filled room in Portland, they decided to start a project together! After a lot of learning, and a few set backs, here it is!

We value DIY! We do all the photography, photo editing, illustrations, writing, fabric sourcing & design ourselves.
